This is a comedy film about four couples that are actually close with each other and together they went off for holiday at Eden Resort.
The couple Jason (Jason Bateman) and Cynthia (Kristen Bell) is struggling with their marriage because Cynthia is not pregnant yet. In order to save their marriage they planned out to go off for vacation in Eden Resort. But going there is a bit expensive so the couple convinced the three other couples (Dave (Vince Vaughn) and Ronnie (Malin Akerman), Joey (Jon Favreau) and Lucy (Kristen Davis), and Shane (Faizon Love) and his girlfriend Trudy (Kali Hawk) through showing them PowerPoint presentation about the resort. The other three couples agreed to accompany Jason and Cynthia.
The interesting part of this movie was when they reached the resort and discovered that the package they signed in required the couples to participate in marriage therapy program of which the three couples did not want to participate. As the story went on, the four couples had no choice but to participate in the program where each couple’s relationship was tested and challenged.
I would rate this movie 7/10 for values I have learned as a married person.
